Thanks to Verell, Sean, Birdman & others my 308 is screamin again! The cam tool to install new belts & tensioners they suggested worked great. Couple more questions: What is suppose to hold battery in place anyone got a picture? How much coolant in expansion tank 1/2 full? I get a slight ringing sound from the cam belt covers, anyone else have this? I also hear alot more whirring with the new belts/bearings is this normal? I never noticed b4 with engine cover on. You got it going again!! Congratulations! I was scared to death to try doing my own belts when I got mine. Looks like I'll be doing a water pump now though. I can answer one or two of these questions but the real experts will have to answer the rest. My battery is held in with a clamp on the bottom. Real fun to get to!! There should be marks on the front of the tank for max and min coolant levels but warm it should be about 2" from the top.
