    I think the wing looks like an after thought as well. But if the car had come with it I'd say keep it. Does that make any sense?

    FWIW Pantera Wings I think are about $1,500. And if I remember correctly that's made out of carbon fiber. Call these guy's if you want to go that route: www.pim.net

    The thing is, with a wing, the Jalpa would look an awful lot like the Pantera.

    Seriously, no, don't add it. I'm pretty sure I saw this car in Vegas, it's a great looking car without the add-on

    evil grin : i sold the Urraco to a friend here in savannah, that is also on fchat.
    Jalpa was loaded monday and on its way here from Vegas. i was able to retain the sport seats and the originals. car is supposed to be here by tuesday........

    thanks for the info and the link, that is a good choice and cheaper than a real Lambo wing i bet !

    i really appriciate the replies and the discussion. if i dont / cant get the 5 hole wheels i may redo a standard set in gold like this car in these pics.



    i am torn between what i want, what i need and what will be easy to sell later as i dont keep my cars long.

    i think a set of 5 hole wheels and a black wing with the black engine cover would look cool. any of you photoshop guys want to take a shot .... DO IT !! :)

    i dislike how the factory Jalpa wheels look to me like late 80's vette wheels....... yuck .

    i can get the carbon fiber Pantera wing for a reasonable amount. with the black engine bonnet and the black bumpers i dont think it will be too over the top. will update......

    me thinks the sport seats are not as nice as the white leather stock seats...



    road test will decide.



    decisions, decisions.......



    gawd i need to work harder, smarter towards a Countach or a Diablo.

    anybody hiring????

    :) i have neither the skills nor the balls to drive the thing fast enough to worry about the aerodynamics !!! ( LOL)

    its a 80's "looks" thing to me as well. funny thing is, i think the carbon fiber Pantera wing is too short. i am still looking around. i am going to wait until the car is here in the flesh and see how it grabs me as a whole entity first. then i will decide on the wheels and wing.

    truck delivering the car broke down enroute about 1000 miles away. now they tell me the part that was ordered NEXT DAY AIR friday has gone missing and they are not sure when the car will get here. for the $1850.00 i was charged for shipping, i better get a "good guy discount" now !!!! will update in the "GOLDRUSH Transport" thread in GFD. :mad:

    The car looks good without it.
    How long do you plan on keeping the car? A week? Drive it in good health,sell it, then get your ultimate countach, diablo, or carb'd boxer.
    That completely sucks about the delivery truck breaking down. I hear that Fed Ex can ship vehicles now.

    Wing it!

    They look good with the wing to me.....if it brings out some of the other lambo traits, so be it afterall you do have a lambo!

    if i like the jalpa i will keep it till spring /s ummer and sell it or trade it. i will be in a cash position then for a Countach or a B.B.

    if i dont like the car...... well its not hard for the REAPER to make em go away ! :) :) :)

    in the end , its just a car...... not like its as cool as an airplane or anything :)

    if i can find the right wing, i am leaning towards one. but it depends on how much the damn things are too ! i still think the pantera wing is too short.... looks good in carbon fiber though!

    Definitely put the wing on...


    ...then paint the entire car black, and tint the windows, and paint the wheels black, and swap out the interior for a black interior - you get my point... :)

    sucks to be me... i see dead "other" cars in the new ones i aqquire ! Compomotive may save the day with wheels, the Silhouette wheels are very hard to come by!!!

    ya ya ya.... i was going to buy " THE BLACK CAR...... " but it needs a few things and it aint cheap. this is the black Jalpa i was going to get. its missing its tools, service records, books, but the price is in the upper range ! i think, i purchased a nice one, if the damn thing ever gets here ...... :)
