    I am pleased to confirm that I have become the first owner of Dino Competizione and that she and and P 4/5 will be Parading The Bahrain GP in April. Pininfarina is giving her a careful pre-delivery service and I hope people will find it interesting to see what an extremely original 40 year old Ferrari really looks like. As you might expect she will be driven and will also attend the Giro d'Sicilia/Historic Targa Florio in June.

    just keep in mind that dino's aren't real ferrari's, so don't try to pass her off as such, even if you get some silly blessing from some big-wig at ferrari.

    Ah Geeze. Man, I don't really know how to say this. Crap, I'm diving into the deep end of the pool and it is 5,000 fathoms deep. Come on, somebody really needs to help me out here. Where is Mahatma Big Tex when I really need his wisdom cause I really don't know how to say this; but, well, it is like this, well, you see -- (said sotto voce)

    For months I've been trying to figure out what car you got...your last hints about the car having been in a museum had me really spinning...I figured you had pried an 8C Alfa out of one of them.

    That car must look wonderful between the P3/4 and the P4/5! What an incredible lineup. Many congrats in your direction. You do tend to exhibit very cultured taste in lines and beauty.

    Did you set out looking for this car or did it appear on the horizon unexpectantly? Where there any other cars in the running that eventually fell to the wayward side?

    I've always loved this car. After Pininfarina and I went down some wonderful roads together I was able to convince them that she deserved to be out and about and that I would treat her well.
