Congratulations - I love my 348 spider but I still want a 308 just like the one Bondurant thrashed for R&T back in '76.

    Well done.

    Cheers

    I just got sick!!

I was driving down there this weekend to see if they had anything enticing. Had I seen that car, it would have been mine. Rats. Missed out by two days.

Thanks. Your's is a cleaner car, mine is a beater, but that's kind of what I wanted.

I figured I'm in this hobby for the long haul, going to end up rebuilding motors and repainting the cars a couple of times before the kids get them, so what's the difference.

I'm leaning 512 BB next. And that is in addition to, not a replacement for...

I'm still waiting for someone on here to grow the sack to buy a 308 with 50-70k miles on it and drive it daily until it reaches 300,000 miles ;)

    Tempting.

I'm going to get a full size truck as the official daily when I return to the states. But I have a feeling its only going to be driven when the weather is really bad. Wonder what they will say at the office when I drive a different car every day of the week. I guess I need 2 more Ferraris so that I can have all 5 days covered.

    Yes they are.

When you add in $300k for an F40, this may be the most expensive 308 ever purchased...

Can you line me up next to them and put a bullet in me. I am still sour about missing out on that car!! ;-)

I am leaving in 5 minutes to head down there. Going to try to make the triple crown (Continental, Fox Valley, and Lake Forest) today. Might be possible. Have a black tie dinner tonight in Milwaukee. Basically I have a few hours to get down to Chicago, get back, get dressed in the tux, and get back to Mailwaukee (an hour away) for 6:30 cocktails. Feeling like I have a great day planned.

    Judge,
If I see "your" car on the lot, I WILL be trying out my hotwiring skills!! I did watch "Gone in 60 Seconds" ya know!! I would rather have that valet parked tonight than the 911!!!
