Hey everyone - I’m new on here but have been reading threads forever wondering about maintenance costs, upkeep, reliability, and drivability of these beautiful machines… Ever since childhood, I had always dreamed of owning a Ferrari, either a 355 in yellow or a 360 in red… I finally pulled the trigger a few months ago and bought a 360 challenge Stradale with 15k miles… I could not be any happier. The exhilarating feelings I get and emotions when driving this car and pushing it gives me sensations like no other I’ve felt behind the wheel of anything. My childhood friend bought an 812 GTS recently and I drove that prior, but the raw analog feeling of the 360 is like no other modern car. I’ve already put a couple thousand miles on her and hope that I never have to get rid of it… This car won’t be a garage queen, and I will be driving it as much as possible! I am beyond words to describe how excited I am about this purchase, and already am thinking of what to get next. I don’t like the look of modern Ferraris as much as the “classics” (for me, at least, at 34 years old). I am leaning towards a 355, 550, 575, or Testarossa. Attached a pic of her… just had sticky buttons all refinished, ac vents, steering column, car is PPF wrapped, and landed my hands on the OEM seat belt harnesses that I will be installing by spring will post some more photos tomorrow Happy to be a part of the community, cheers! Some more pics as promised… I was really waiting on pulling the trigger and wanted an all leather interior spec (summers get very hot and humid here in NY and the alcantara would kill me)…. the lighting is a bit off but everytime I walk by her it makes my day, can’t wait to add another to the stable I also purchased an OEM stereo because the car came with an aftermarket one, should I be worried about doing this myself? I know the electronics are finicky in this car… Also have a question about servicing the car… I have read some take their cars to independent shops but I had already sent mine to the Ferrari dealer here for a health check… should I service it every year? Every two years? After every season I’m guessing will be parking the car for 2-3 months a year through snow/salt…. Thanks! Congrats man!! I'm a few years older but did the same as you, was a poster car while in school. Recently picked up a red CS a couple weeks ago, 1st Ferrari. I see you have a 911 (PTS 992?), great combo (mines a 996gt3 as stablemates). CS is grail status!
A beautiful car, and now under the care of clearly someone who will appreciate and enjoy for many miles to come. Cheers on achieving this dream - many around here, including me, are proud and humbled to have been fortunate enough to do the same! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Congrats - recently added one too. I like your interior - don't see that color combo too often in leather. Enjoy!
Beautiful CS. For the next few years you'll find yourself just going into the garage for a peek. We've all done it Congratulations.
Congrats. Super unique interior spec. Also a NY based CS here. We should try and get a crew together for a shoot.
Fantastic car. I just picked up my first Ferrari last night which is an F430. Congrats on the Stradale, it is a beautiful automobile.
That would be really cool, 100% available to do it. For service on your side of the river I would use Vinny at Auto Elite in Tenafly.
