A few weeks ago, I took my 550 into a very special shop to have the leather dashboard repaired. The owner told me it would be only two days. That was three weeks ago. Nuts.

Now for the good news. I saw my car today. It appears to be almost ready. The color match is perfect. I hope to pick it up before the weekend. He is also repairing some problems I did not know existed.

I told his wife about this web site and how some of you were asking if he would repair their cars. She said, “OK if they call first.”

What is the phone number? I do not know.

What is the name of the place? I do not know.

How much does he charge? I do not know.

Where is the place? That I do know. It is in Fountain Valley. He is listed in the white pages. I will tell everyone the name and phone number after I pick up my beast.

This place only does fine work. They are craftsmen of the first order. Of course, one could go to TJ and have the work done much cheaper. You get what you pay for.

    Only drive 12 cylinders
