Enjoying the forum. Great help and lots of info. Thanks.
Got my 2012 FF today. Loving the sweet V12 sounds. I can't stop SMILING.
I'm looking for 2 missing items. Does anyone have them to sell or know best place to buy items?
    1) Battery Conditioner. Must I use OEM or is aftermarket OK?
    2) Luggage compartment cover (Nero). I need the removable one attached to rear lid.
    Thanks.

Aftermarket battery conditioner is fine. Just get a good one. I'm sure someone here has the part number of the oem one so you can just get one from online.

Those are both part of a normal sale and very odd to not be with the car. I hope you got a great deal.

Thanks for input. Yes, got a good deal. Only item missing is battery conditioner. I have the luggage compartment cover, but side damaged, looking to replace it.

Your local authorized dealer can get you a charger and a new cover.

The battery conditional is made by CTEK and labelled Ferrari. If you are forced to buy one save yourself a small fortune and buy the CTEK labelled version. :)

yeh no one cares if the tender says Ferrari or ctek - and the Ferrari one is the entry level ctek. spend the extra money on the more advanced ctek

Buy a Ctek charger and a Dongle/Adapter off eBay to connect into the ferrari port. Then you're all set

CTEK has a half dozen ... which tender has any real value as an upgrade?

I bought a new genuine Ferrari one for about $270 off the boards here. Is the CTEK unbranded one that much cheaper?

The 7002 is any better? For what situations?

I use 4.3 for normal use and 7002 if I have a car that ends up with a dead batter. I know it sounds crazy, but for whatever reason on my 612 the car likes the 7002 better. my 612 ate 2 Ferrari OEM tenders (yes I switched the batter after the first time) and it sometimes ignored the 4.3 so the 612 is always on a 7002. the world is a crazy place. On my FF I use a 4.3

    Yea, you never know

And the 4.3 differs over the Ferrari OEM/3300 in what way?

Are you using an adapter and plugging it in to the original location behind the panel? If so, which adapter is it?

    Congrats on your FF.

Something you might want to consider for your FF is a new battery. If you want to do longer trips,, perhaps trips without the car running for a few days, it's a must.
Few words can describe how bad and unreliable the OE Ferrari batteries are. Yes, these cars leach a lot of power when sitting, but part of the notoriously poor ability to sit for more than a few days, has to do with the batteries Ferrari use.
I've seen some examples of cars that could not sit for more that two or three days being able to sit for weeks after changing to a proper quality battery.
If you want peace of mind, and a better ability to take trips without having to worry about starting and tenders, get a new and better Group 49 battery. It's cheap insurance and it wiladd tremendously to the reliability and usability to your FF.

Several available, but I have a soft spot for these.

Hard to go wrong with a Braille battery.
This and the Ctek 4.3 and you have yourself a very reliable system that starts every time.

Was hoping that Braille battery is a little smaller so easier to install...
