:D ......Oh dear i did the worst thing in car buying...i went,i checked myself,i bought,i drove home....LOL....I couldnt say no!!!!!....Any way the car is a 1990 TB (much better for the UK weather LOL) right hand drive UK and its SILVER not RED :D i personally think it looks more modern in this colour over the red versions i have seen...ok not as sellable but who cares i only ever gonna PX for an upgrade,as once you get a Ferrari...surely you NEVER be without one :D ..i digress,it has 64000 miles so well used, which again was to me a bonus as loads has been changed on it!!!!.....It has magnolia leather with black dash......Its been de catted/upgrade chip???(got a receipt) and stainless steel sports exhaust.

The thing feels VERY free compared to a std 348..sounds like an F1 car :D and quite a bit quicker than stock!

At this time of writing i feel like a kid with a new toy with butterflys :)

Now...i KNOW i am gonna regret impulse buying a Ferrari after todays proper inspections but hey who cares..i own a Ferrari...if it never runs again...i can just look at its beauty in the garage.

For any knowledgable people out there especially UK i paid £24500 for it...which to me was very low priced......the only things i found wrong with the car is it needs a cambelt service and probably soon a clutch.....is it a good price?

You lucky lucky B*******.(LOL)............when did you pick it up?

I've got to wait till 16th August to pick mine up....

it looks good in silver, there's one for sale near me in silver, but black interior.

I think the price sonds pretty good, I'm paying about 30K for a 1992 red 348ts with 30000 on the clock. belts and clutch done and four new feet.

    Well done.

I'm paying £35,000 for a black GTB with 24,500 miles. Fully cambelted and lots of service history.

Well done, looks great in silver and a good price too. I've never seen a silver 348 before :) All in, with extras, I'm paying 38.5k for mine & hopefully collecting later this week. (I think my price is good for a mint spider.)

Congratulations - you're right the car does look quite modern in silver.

I'd like to see the interior when you get a chance - mine is crema as well (Italians don't know from magnolia, mate).

    Cheers

Silver looks so good on the 348 because it so closely matches the look of the stock wheels.

Plus, you can't get away with red wheels for those of us with red 348's! So we're stuck with our wheels not matching our paint.

Your price was good, very fair to buyer and seller alike. These cars are *CHEAP* right now for what all they offer.

There are several cambelt threads (mostly titled as "timing belt" threads). The consensus seems to range from changing belts after every 3 years (or 30,000 miles if you drive much) for the conservative owners to 5 years (or again, 30,000 miles) for the other owners.

I'd suggest adding a cheap $12 zinc anode to your radiator overflow tank, as our 348's are more subject to electrolysis than other models/makes, and the anode delays that pain.

Euro owners manual states every "every 36 months".

Then of course there's always the Engine in or Engine out argument.

    For me....it's engine out.
