Hello fellow 348 FerrariChat people! So I just wanted to post some pictures (will take better ones later) of my new 348! 1995 348 Spider! Very excited! Even though I have been lurking in the background for a long time, since I didn't own a car, I was constantly reading as many of the posts and replies as I could to learn more about the cars. I'm a big DIY person and plan on doing some things on my car myself. That's one of the main reasons I chose the 348 is because it was simple mechanically...but also has amazing looks! Another big point that caused me to take the plunge was all of you guys! Even though I have never met any of you, I have probably read one of your posts/replies at some point. Such a tight knit community that supports each other. I hope to meet other 348 owners in the area and would definitely be interested in helping someone who is working on their car if needed. I'm definitely interested in slowly learning more about the car and how to work on it. Look forward to posting more now that I'm an actual owner! congratulations. beautiful car. Hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine. Be warned, its hard to have just one. They are addictive.
Congrats! Nice looking Spider. Like you, I spent many hours reading posts here before (and even after) buying mine. Read most of the archives, in fact. It's comforting to know in advance that people here have found solutions for most of the cars' problems so they can be pretty reliable cars once they're debugged. Enjoy the new toy!
Congratulations! That is the same car/color as the first Ferrari I ever drove (a 6-hour rental in Maui on my Honeymoon) I love it- best of luck! Looks to be in very nice shape- how many miles on her?
Thanks for creating this thread! Just arrived and like you, I've found this site has been a great resource in getting to understand the car and locating appropriate support. Thanks to members who have responded to my inquires. 12,600 Miles, last 5 of Vin 90516. Build #07317. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the VIN. I'm keeping my own database of 348s and have added yours. It may interest you to know that the last serial number I have in my records is the next car after yours, 99648, which is also a red/tan Spider.
Gentlemen, beautiful cars. I love my 348. I've had it for since 2011 and I figured I would go for something else after a while. Not a chance. I love the analog feel and the glorious sound of that flat plane crankshaft. Enjoy in good health.
