I just bought this car this week. I'm waiting for it to arrive. 06 6sp. I sold my 08 Gallardo Spider (burned oil like the Exxon Valdez!) and this is the replacement. I think the 6sp will be fun after the egear in the G

i photo shopped the wheels black and lowered the car a bit. I will be lowering the car immediately, and I'll see if I want to keep the silver wheels or not.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Traded in the Gallardo Spider for an F430. Such a better car and glad I made the switch. I saw your "new" car at the dealership when I picked up my F430 in Houston, car looks great in person.

Many new owners in a week :). Hey new owners: CHECK YOUR BATTERY to make sure you don't have acid damage, like mine. Fortunately I caught mine early and only damage was the tray's paint, but all the foamy acid gave me the scare of my life; after sanding and painting it, it's like new again. Optima's 34R is the correct application, and a perfect fit, without any modifications or anything. I'd get rid of that wel cell battery NOW. Good luck.

You’re a little off topic don't you think.

Otherwise drive a Gallardo and see if you like it better, since it is you who will drive it.

Many think it is a great car, but who cares what they think.

If you have the means to buy an F-Car or an L-Car I would hope that you have enough self-confidence and self-esteem and need no affirmation from anyone as to what to do with your expendable income...Seriously....Steve

    To the OP.......Congrats again......Steve

true, but since I've seen 2 of Lambo owners got an F430... just wanted to know what's their feedback on the new Lambo...and why they shifted to F?
they are totally free to answer or ignore...

Yes but that will be thier opinion, which will not be your own personal experience. If you do a search, you will find the opinions and experiences of others who have pondered as you do.

In the end, you will find that folks have gone from one to another in either direction and have been happy with thier decision......Steve

Personally I just wanted to try something different for a while. Had my Lambo for about a year and the F430 came up so figured why not swap. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on the two cars - think Android vs iPhone type discussion. Both are great, each has its own personality which is what makes cars like these interesting.

Once you change them to RWD, the Gallardo is a great car, in AWD I would not even consider it. I am not a fan of either the 430 or the Gallardo in anything but coupe form though.

I had two Gallardo's before this F430 purchase. A 05 6sp coupe which was fun and seemed to be pretty bullit proof. I put alot of miles on it and it never caused me any trouble. Then I got a 08 Gallardo spider egaer. That car was awesome! Fast, beautiful and totally trick with matte black wheels, full carbon interior, sic stereo, Larini exhuast. But I only put 3500 miles on it. It burned more oil than the Exxon Valez spilled! Like 15 quarts in 3500 miles!! I bailed on that thing and bought a AMG CLK63 Black Series next. The Black Series is a awesome car too (kinda slow paddle shift tranny though) but I sold it so I can catch some fun in the sun. This new F430 is a 6 sp manual so that should bring some life to open air driving. I will buy another Black Series for the next winter again!
