Hay everyone... my name is Chris and I just got my first Ferrari I finally got around to picking some pictures to post. Here it is: this is my new black on black 75 308 GT4. It has 40,500 miles and was fully serviced last June. I'm quite excited, and [probably for the first time ever] cannot wait for the snow and salt to go away! Heres the low-down on the car: The interior is basically stock w/ an updated MOMO steering wheel, Halon fire extinguisher, and mid 90s Blaupunkt stereo. It has the tool kit, jack kit, and users manual. The exterior is mostly stock w/ slight blemishes in the paint, but for the most part it is in excellent shape. It has fiberglass bumpers installed and the rubber bumper end cap holes welded shut. The wheels are 16"x7" and 16"x8" Speedline modular w/ Yokohama AVS S1 tires (2000 miles on them) 205x55R16 fronts and 225x50R16 rears. It came with a set of 14"x7.5" Cromodora 5-spoke mags that I will either put some R compound tires on or sell for another set of 16" rims w/ R compound tires. The suspension was fully rebuilt (with stock-type components and bushes) about 5 years ago. The engine / trans is also 100% stock (internally) w/ a K&N air filter, updated dual MSD 6A ignition units, and Stebro stainless exhaust (Stebro says it tests at 17hp increase to the wheels). The clutch was replaced 2000 miles ago, and records show the car has had all of its scheduled maintenance done at the proper intervals! There you have it thats everything I can remember off hand. Again, Im very excited about finally finding a 308 thats just right and this forum has been a huge help along the way! I look forward to working with you guys online, and hopefully meeting a few of you over time. -Chris Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Christopher, What a beauty! Great choice! Drive it in good health. Whereabouts are you located in NY? Andrew
Congrats and thanks for sharing pics! There is no better place than fchat for information on your new (old) car.
*WOW*....what a beauty! In my opinion, those Speedlines are *THE* only wheel for that car. The black + polished aluminum just pops so much... Very very VERY nice car.
One minor suggestion: you may be able to unbolt your driver's seat to swap it with your passenger seat to even out the wear patterns and get more life out of your interior. I'd bet the best drink at your closest bar that they'll swap with only about four bolts each in the floor.
Thats a sweet little car. Enjoy in good health. The black looks awesome and very rare. I havent seen too many in nero. Also, that picture of it peaking through that old garage looks killer. V.
Those Speedlines are gorgeous!!! Drive it in good health. Glad to see another black Ferrari. I have two words of advice: Meguires NXT
Thanks guys for the kind words! MrApex - I'm located just outside of Albany, NY No Doubt - excellent suggestion on the seats, I'll put that down as one of the first things to do. I've been able to do that in almost every Datsun I've owned, but have not had enough room around this car yet to check it out (narrow garage). Oh and don't worry, this car is going to be treated well, and enjoyed regularly... as soon as this snow goes away! That old garage is just to keep it protected from the elements... -Chris
That's the best color combo/wheels I have ever seen on a GT4, well chosen my friend, it looks amazing. Stephane Scaledetails
Wouldn't that put the back release mechanism on the wrong side? Great color combo, looks like Elvis's car. I really love the GT4 interior design.
It is not a Ferrari! it's a Dino!!!! Ha ha! Just joking. Great looking car. I hope that you enjoy it very much. Take very good care of her! Now do what we all do...... sit and wait for spring to arrive!
I'm not a big fan of the GT4, but the paint and the wheels make that car look 100% better. Drive the snot out of it!
Hi Chris Congrats, you are now part of a dedicated group of GT4 nuts. Don't forget to add or update the entries about your car in the two 308GT4 registries. Gerrit http://dino308gt4.com
