The readers of my "Sound Classics" collector car column have been pushing me for a while to start an automotive blog so that I can print things more than once per week (plus print statements that a newspaper won't run.) I finally decided to do it -- so The Four Wheel Drift is now online and open for reading.

I just published the first three entries, and figured I'd get some feedback from my F-Chat buddies first before opening it up to my normal readers.

    the link is: http://fourwheeldrift.wordpress.com/

Right now the posts are more new car-oriented, but it will certainly get tons of content in the future related to classics and F-cars (like my experiences with my 328 GTS.)

Comments and feedback are appreciated -- as are content suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Sam

Wordpress is great - just need to fine-tune it to your liking

    - start with the title banner - currently, it's splicing the bottom line "Classic Automobile Collectors"

    - make each article link to it's own page.

    - be sure and leave link/room for replies, luckily, you're already equipped for multi-users

    Good luck!

Thanks for the hints. I'm just learning about the world of Wordpress. It's not the easiest to use, and a little buggy. I keep remembering with fondness the days when I started in the Web business and it was just HTML. (I ran an internet provider called Cyberspace.com way back when you couldn't even center text!!!) By the time I found my way into large corporations, I had teams of sys ads and programmers, so I didn't keep up with technology like CSS.

I'll make some changes and edits to make it easier to read.

    Yes, it's crazy now

It's kind of like having a can, but no can opener. The goodies someone else has planted, watered, weeded, harvested, sent off to market to be processed and packaged are inside that can, but... even if you do have a can opener, it's instructions are in Geekinese.
