I took delivery of this today......my first real exotic! Also Karl @ European Road Racing gave me a ride in his Ultima........ well after changing my pants I realized that car will not be equaled by any other road car!!! I literally can't explain that experience other than mind blowing! I think we hit a pedestrian 150 or so MPH in literally less than 10 seconds. Also the handling is bordering on ridiculous. Thanks again Karl! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So, Jeremy, you now own the "British Ferrari"! You ought to drive it down here to next Saturday's Giovanni's gathering, where you could meet up with Brian Skeoch (whose Esprit is also red) and the other Lotus guys who usually show up. Are you going to bring it to Road Atlanta for the Mitty? I think there will be a dedicated British car corral this year (as there also will for Italian cars).
Yeah Jim I think the "shields" on the fenders will be coming off once I get home. Next weekend I'm scheduled to be on the golf course hahaha. I should however make it down to the Mitty, so look for me. Can't post more pics as it is freakin pouring in Charleston right now! Hence the car cover......
Karl gave you a ride in his car? I swear I have given him all of my money and he hasn't even admitted he has driven it yet. I keep hearing about how he doesn't even like to work on his own cars anymore... Congratulations on your new car. (The purpose of this email is that Karl will feel very sorry for me and give me a ride).
Jeremy Congratulations Great Looking Car Can't wait to see it in person at our charity event Ferrarifest May 6th in Columbia. Buddy
Jeremy, I hope you will enjoy the car as much as my brother has. I think he is a bit sad. I enjoyed lunch with you and your wife and was honored to scare the s*** out of you. But trust me, even I am still blown away by the performance of that car. No productioncar I have ever driven even comes close. Now if I can only convince my wife to ride with me. karl
Jeremy - CONGRATS on the Esprit!!!! That looks like a wicked ride!!!!! I can hardly wait to get a closer look!!!
I love it!! 99? I would like to pick up a 4-cylinder model in the next year or two, awesome cars. I look forward to both meeting you and seeing that amazing car in the flesh.
Thanks everyone! Got the car home, but stopped in Columbia on the way home to meet up with David/Buddy/Danny/Adrian and several others. Everyone who has seen the car loves it. I couldn't be happier right now! Always loved the Type 55's on those cars....but, is that chicken wire up front??? BTW, Looks much better w/out the windshield 'trim'.
No Trevor that is the factory mesh used to prevent BMW's from being sucked up. The Gallardo was a guy from OK who is now stationed in Columbia.
