Hi everyone I posted here a few month ago asking which car to chose from the 458 Speciale and the F12. After trying them both and reading this board with all the great advice, I decided on the F12. Well three weeks ago I collected my first ever Ferrari. The car is grey Silverston and grey rims. I just love this color as depending on the angle you look at it, it looks much darker than it really is. The beautiful lines of the car really stand out (the pictures don't do it justice, Blackberie's are not great for pictures). I remember a thread where someone had asked for a picture of just the cupholder in carbon, I am not sure you get to see it on my pictures (if not let me know and I will make better ones). After much thought, I didn't take the lifter, I have driven all over; speed bumbs, moutain roads, parkings etc.... and never had a problem for ground clearance (so quite happy I didn't go for this). For the money, take the better quality sound system in my opinion. The car is a blast to drive, I am taking it slowly as this car has a serious amount of power, the engine sound fabulous. One thing that impresses me is how easy it is to drive, park and can be used as a daily driver without any doubt. Altogether, I am delight that I went for the F12 rather than the Speciale (especially that the speciale will come in a spider version and the new 458T is soon to arrive - info from dealer). Looks good, congratz! Must be in Switzerland, where? And greetz from another Swiss F12 owner. Marcel Massini
well done... I have owned both...Decided to sell the 458 Speciale and order a Speciale Spider, but I still have the F12 Cant blame you for going the F12 route...It is a more complete car, far more user friendly and absolutely incredible to drive fast...The depreciation will be heavy, but you only live once... Enjoy!
