    Hello,

    I would like to show you my F430 bought in November 2014 ... it is a 2008 model with 38000 kms with the following extras

    - Parking radars
    - Grey Leder with Red stiches
    - Carbon Dashboard
    - Leder behind the Seats
    - Carbon Sport Seats
    - Parking Radars
    - Scuderia Carbon back

    The following mods are planned
    - Audio improve with Focal 165 KRX2 and Crunch amplifier
    - Capristo Level 3 F1 Sound
    - Lowering to Scuderia Specs

    I had a problem with the door lock .... it was imposible to lock the door from the inside.

    there are 2 little switches by side, one on the lock button and one on the open handle.

    these 2 switches were broken (212584) .... Price, 100 euros + delivery at redparts.

    I found the same switches in an electronic shop for 5 euros/pce and decided to weld them on the original connector.

    Problem solved for 20 euros instead of 400 euros ! they make a real good markup !

    The audio in this car is a real shame ! So I decided to install some Focals 165 KRX2 in the doors. the filters will be placed behind the battery, so the doors need to be rewired with 2,5mm2 OFC cable.

    I really don't understand how Ferrari could put such ****ty Loudspeakers !

    I wanted to have full OEM Look, so some mod were necessary on the woofer grills and also on the Tweater holder ! Thanks Dremel !

    There is no real model year in Europe.... Mine was manufactured in December 2007, perhaps one of the last with steel brakes ..... And very happy about this :)

    I continue slowly and now prepare the new wiring for the doors.

    Getting the cables in the door is pretty tricky, I want to go parralel to the original wiring. Getting the new cables in the original loom is complicated but with an electrical cable pass through, I manage to come into the interior (the Exit is behind the Vent)

    I too was wondering about the brakes. Was it only in the US market cars that swapped to CCM brakes on the 2008 and newer cars?

    the new switch has three wires and the the old one has two what to do with the third wire ?

    The OEM switch has only two wires for the normally closed contact. On the replacement switch, the third wire is the normally open contact which is not used on the interior door handle. You can cut it off or just tape it up.

    also will the replacement switch work for the inner and outer micro switch ? is it the same part because they have different part numbers through ferrari...
