    Matt:
Nice thread! And congrats on the 2-car space. We just sold our place, so it's goodbye to the one-car deal and onto a 2-car space, too. We're still in the same community.

I painted the backsides of my garage doors to match the garage paint color, it turned out good and looks nice when the doors are closed.

Your project is coming along nice and is starting to look good!

Thanks Ace. Installer showed up today and we narrowed down the color chips to the last three-five. He will have to order them so we are going to have to push it past the 1st for the install, but as soon as he gets them in we will have the floor installed.

Will get you guys pics and info as we move along...

Here is the site for the color chips: www.torginol.com

Is that the Polyaspartic Polyurea flooring?

I'm leaning that way when I finally get start using the new garage. Did you do it yourself or have it done? I've done a few epoxy floors myself but the setup time on the polyaspartic polyurea kind of scares me (need to do about 2500 sq ft). Right now the vendor I've been looking to doesn't have a dealer/distriburtor/installer in Northern Calif. so I may have to find someone who does have a crew in the area.

    Rick,

It is indeed polyaspartic. I had it done by a guy here in the DC area. It dries f a s t. If you don't know what you are doing you could be in for a long day. I didn't want to risk it.

I can't give you a long term report as to how it holds up as it was just installed, but it was well done. Not perfect, but I can live with it. It was a B+ job on the install.

If you want to talk details you can PM me and I can discuss with you.

    Regards,
    MB

Here are some new cabinets I had installed. We are getting there. I need another cabinet that will go under where my TV will be to store some of the bigger things like basketballs etc.

Did a decent job. Not perfect, but I can live with it. Sorry about the sh!tty photos again, they are from my phone, so sue me. LOL!

Yes that is a sink over on the left hand side, need to get it plumbed in yet...

coming along nicely......looks like you "traded in" your 348? As far as heat goes you have 3 real choices to consider.....you can find an old gas furnace, put it up on a stand a foot or so and simply place a plenum on top. OR, you can hang a unit heater OR you can install a tube heater - your ceiling should really be at least 12 ft high for a tube heater to work well. Advise should you need any further info...good luck with your project Matt!

    Mark,
Heat indeed. I bought a small ceramic heater only because I don't think I will get the heat installed before this winter, and I do want it to remain at least reasonably warm in there...

It's coming along. Each time I install something and think I will get it "done" I come up with something else major to do...

Yeah, sold the 348 to another Fchatter to free up cash for the business. 308QV now. Very different but cool in a different way. I like it.

I would be really interested to know what kind of cost was involved with that Polyaspartic floor install.

I am a Epoxy Installer and would love to compare what it costs compared to our floor systems.

Even a ballpark figure. If not, no worries.......enjoy you new floor!!!

Going to do one in the Spring. Maybe to kick off the F1 season. I will have the TV and decor done by then, and I really want to fill my driveway and street with exotics. That would be very cool.
