My New Garage Construction Thread

In my neck of the woods I was allowed to use floor drains as long as I used a county approved catch basin plumbed like a septic tank to catch sludge and to 'float' light oil before flowing out in to the drain field. White pipe is inflow, black is out.

They use the lower edge of the wall plate as a guide and screet along the walls and out toward the center. They use a bull float on a long handle to shake it down and pool. After a few hours they come back and power trowel (or by hand) to burn it in.
