1) Your last picture is a photoshop from before the launch.

2) They look awesome in real life, pictures just don't do these cars justice.

 

I looked at the A5 and it was OK but I bought a BMW 335i coupe. I liked the way the 335i handled vs. the A5 and it's faster than an S5.

 

The S5 has a nice presence to it. They look great on the road.

 

Looks like a last generation Tiberon.

 

Different engine, suspension, seats, more exclusive materials... And price.

But yes, the same body, except for wheels, some external tweeks (another grill, silver side mirrors, meaner exhaust tips etc. like all Audi S-models...) A average person wouldn't tell them apart, though, without looking much closer...

Some A5's have FWD (the cheapest ones) but the S has AWD, just FYI.

What is that 3rd picture of? Is that the concept A5/S5? Headlights look much different than production. and I'm not talking about the Mini.

 

Not concept, just photoshop - the type of photoshop car mag's make before a launch to predict how it will look.

 

I have a friend that has an M6, stupid fast and you can pick up a 2 yr old one for $60k. might be worth a look if you like the styling.

however, I'm a big fan of the S5, that's probably what I'd buy.
