Hi Everyone, Glad to be a new member to the community. I've admired these cars for quite some time and finally had the guts to pull the trigger on a 97 456GTA Black over Gray with 36k miles on it. Been going through the car and servicing it (new tires, oil change, air filters, cabin filter). Debating about doing the timing belts myself after watching all the content out there on the internet. I popped open the fuse box today and noticed an orange and green wire hanging and not sure if you all new what they might be? My cigarette lighter is not working and not sure if there is a correlation. Checked all the fuses and they all seem to be good. Anyways hope to be contributing some good content as I bring this car back to greatness. Not sure what they are for. Does your glovebox light work? Anyway, I doubt the wires are related to the cigarette lighter. Power for the cigarette lighter will probably go through one of the main plugs on the relay panel (possibly the green plug on the left of the panel... pin 7, if it's the same as the 456M) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you all for the support and really learning a lot about these cars. I'm going to start making YouTube content because I feel like there is not enough content out there for the 456's. Here is my first go at it and added it to my YouTube Channel-- CarFun. Enjoy and if I mess up please feel free to call me out on it that's how we all learn
