So 48 hrs of ownership so far. Sad to see the 458 Spider go but she was in danger of becoming a garage queen ,which really isn't my bag! Going to use the FF as a DD First impressions : I had Bentleys for 7 years - this FF seems to do everything the Bentley does but just so much better , it really is a wolf in a sheeps clothing ( and a bloody big powerful wolf at that).The handling is in a different stratosphere to GTC I had prior to the 458 The engine's power delivery is phenomenal and the V12 soundtrack is out of this world. I have always loved the aesthetics of these cars ,as I know they divide opinion. In the flesh and close up they look even better :0). Drove the car to work today -(never did that with the 458),made my working day so much more enjoyable ,as looking forward to the drive home was nice. At danger of over generalisation , I feel that people fall broadly into two camps - one group may view the car as an indication that the services they are paying for are overpriced , the other that we must be good at what we do and are successful hence reinforcing the desire to attend our practices. I am very fortunate that I have been seeing my client base for many years and the vibe I was getting was very positive with general admiration of the FF- they are rare beasts really as I read somewhere that there are less than 200 in the Uk so not a car that one sees very often. The sound system seems soooo much better that the 458 to my tone deaf ears - not sure why , maybe extra speakers ,better cabin acoustics, but sure seems it to me. I could go on - but all you owners know that already!! Bob, congrats! A beautiful example! My last FF was black, a fantastic colour for this car. Sabbia interior? Looks amazing. I too came from Bentley GTs. Great cars, but nothing compared to the FF. You'll love it as a daily driver. Enjoy! Love the plate too! Mac.
Thanks Mac - Yep - Nero Daytona with Sabia , Nicely specced , the only thing it doesn't have that I would have specced on a new car is apple carplay-I have asked the dealer to give me a price to retrofit it ,it is a 2014 car and I made a healthy saving vs the list price so I'm happy. The numberplate isn't mine - it is the dealerships , they were keen to shift the car before the end of march and we are waiting for the dvla to sort the paperwork so it is 'on loan' for a couple of weeks. If it's of any interest to you I bought FF14 FER from the DVLA website for £399 all in, the last time I looked FF15 FER was still available. Loving your 15 FF as well :0) cheers,Bob
Thanks Bob! Will be interesting to hear if CarPlay can be retrofitted. Won't lessen you're enjoyment of the car if it can't be done though! I'm sure you're very happy! I did see the other thread about the number plates. £399 is a bargain! I've had XIB 18 on my cars for years though, and although I am tempted by FF15 FER, I feel I'd be somehow jinxing myself if I didnt continue the trend!
Lucky bugger, mine's not coming until late July. Lovely colour combo, very elegant. I have a QP and chopped the Cali in for an ff. Like you consider it to be head and shoulders above the rest. Weird pictures but ok if I turn off screen rotation. ��
Splendid exterior colour on the car. the positions i had to take to watch the pictures were some awesome yoga for my back. And dont worry about the people who now see you in an FF and think "he's stealing my money, I'll change doctor". They already thought that and went away when they saw your previous 458. Those who stayed, will stay even with a Bugatti.

Stunning, love the glass dome.. wow. I am terrified of black cars.. but the FF looks so good in that colour. Absolutely the best of all worlds, and I am amazed at the attention it gets - I get daily pictures and video tapers with thumbs up everywhere. Thinking of doing the Capristo Package Next
Do the Capristo! The valvetronic exhaust make her quite and calm but when you want an F1 car....a good F1 car with a V12! Better throttle response, a little more HP and does not effect warranty. Perfect match for the FF. Wolf in sheeps clothes.

Had a response from the dealer - it is not possible to retrofit the carplay- I'm quite glad in a way because ,had it been possible, I'm sure it would have come with a daft price tag attached and whilst common sense would have told me not to I know I would have ended up paying to have it installed!!
