    I just completed the deal for this 458 on Friday. This is my first Ferrari and by far the most expensive car I have purchased. I have to wait for the dealer to detail it before I get it home. Then the tough part is waiting until spring to drive it. Thanks for all the useful information on this forum. It really helps a F car newbie.

    Expensive yes.
    But such eye candy...and the smell.
    U have to love it.

    Almost as nice as mine! Had a 430, test drove 458 and came home with it! Enjoy in good health.

    Nothing can thrill you and your senses like a 458. Very few Ferraris can, if any.

    In the words of Jeremy Clarkson himself, driving the 458: "Nothing in the world is better than this. Except something I just thought of involving Cameron Diaz and some honey. But come to think of it... Not even that is as good as this".

    You don't have to wait for spring. Just take it out when the weather is good. Wait for the tires to get warm before you start working the engine. Its well worth the money imo

    Thanks. It doesnt show too well in pictures but my car has the red deviated stitching on the seats and most all leather surfaces. I love deviated stitching!

    We have had a lot more snow than usual so far this winter and unfortunately the city has dumped lots of gravel on the road. Calgary is the capital of cracked windshields and stone chips. I will be happy to get my car home in the garage, crack open a beer and stare at it a while.

    Beautiful car. Congrats. You will love the race seats. Just pump up the tires little bit, put it on the battery tender and hand wax it as often as you can. You will learn its every curve and crevice and appreciate the design even more.
