I have just acquired a new Ferrari watch, which is not a licensed product. I think it is beautiful! It comes in 3 different face colors (Red, Yellow and Black), of which color paints are from the exact same Ferrari colors from the same paint manufacturer. As for the wrist band, it is made from the "Connelly" leathers (Black, Red and Yellow). As an option, you can also have it changed to a stainless-steel band at an additional cost. What do you think?

I highly doubt it is Swiss made.

That looks a lot like a knock off watch that they sell in Shanghai. Local price is <$20.

$20? For ONE? Prices have gone up there. I came home with a bag of Rolexes for $20!

You can still get B and C quality ones for ~$4-$5.

The nice copies, if there is such a thing, are in the high teens to low twenties.

If it's not a GP (Girard Perregaux) - why bother? Anything else is not licensed and likely a fake.

I especially like the notation 'Swiss Move' at the bottom.
    It is a pretty design.

I like it...I saw this advertised in a magazine, but forget where. I did not know you get all 3 faces. Where did you get it and how much?

Enjoy it...it's a watch after all and not a piece of art. I have a Rolex which is by nature 3 minutes off every month. Expensive for poor time keeping. I LOVE GPs...absolutely love them...but they are too expensive for me. The Rolex is too expensive for me but it was a gift.

    Enjoy.

You saw it in Cavallino #145 on the back page. The stainless version costs $1280.00, wonder what the leather went for? I bought an Invicta that has a red leather band really nice, similar look.

I purchased this last week in Tokyo, Japan. Unlike other knock off watches you normally find in other countries in Asia, a craftmanship seems much better. I myself purchased many knock off watches in the past. The last knock off watch I bought in Taipei for my friend was the Rolex GMT Master II, which I have the real one. Let me tell you that even I had a difficult time telling which one was real and knock off. But. yet it will normally break in less than a year.

This Ferrari watch is not a knock off of anything. It is an original watch only being manufactured and sold by this one particular watch dealer. Yes, it looks a lot like one of those Franc Muller watches. The movement is Swiss and the face (cosmetic) is done in Japan. I thought it would be fun to wear it once in awhile in casual occasions. I also used to collect expensive watches as a hobby of mine, but I also enjoy wearing a $10 Casio watch. It is all about having a good time. Don't you agree?

A fake watch? All it does is tell time.

Nero308: With all due respect, you said "This Ferrari watch is not a knock off of anything." You are right, it's a counterfeit if it bears the Ferrari indicia and has not been licensed. Unlike Frank Parker, I won't call you an idiot for posting the fact that you bought one, but there are folks from FNA that get around to this board, and I wouldn't be too brazen. Just a suggestion....

I'd say.... A Franck Muller knockoff with a Ferrari insignia on it.

The strap should have a Gucci logo on it!

    Multiple infractions.

May I suggest, that if you're looking for a high-quality, automatic, then by all means check out Sinn watches. They're made in Frankfurt, but use the ubiquitous Valjoux and ETA movements. Beautiful, purposeful designs/styles and very reasonable prices (example: GP chrono, like the 330 P4 goes for $4 - 5,000 whereas the Sinn 356 which is very similar is about a third of that). Their site:

    http://www.sinn.de/onlineshopPRO/katalog-uebersicht-ka.htm

I would've gotten one, but there are no dealers here in Canada, so I settled on a Breitling Montbrillant Navitimer... Well worth it!!!

? i dont get it. i love car, guns, guitars, but why $$$ for a watch? fake or not i think the watch is nice. i could care less what FNA says about it, seeing as how they treat thier customers. i have a white face casio divers watch, a whole $40.00 at walmart. people see me in the Ferrari and keep asking me if its some new Rolex model........ lol ( Daytona?)
