With the help of Writerguy I have finally been able to take some old photos of myself when I raced M/X for Kawasaki, my last altered roadster and my friends McLaren and scan them onto an e-mail and hopefully download them here..
#1 Strip Teaser --'23 Ford T-bucket altered roadster
#2 Strip Teaser -- Best of 8.96/168 mph on gas with single carb
#3 Kawasaki Team Green M/X--Passing Tony Distefano when he was still a privateer riding a CZ I believe or a Maico
#4. My friends McLaren F1 that he let me drive for three days. That is my son waving from the passenger seat.......

Help, I cannot reduce them enough to fit. I have tried several different t hings but nothing seems to help. Help..........

    Jim,

Thank you very much. I think some of the guys here were beginning to think I was blowing smoke about some of the cars and experiences I have had and I wanted to give photographic proof before I left. Again thanks,

    Chris.
You can take the copy for sure but these were scanned off a photo take in 1998 so it is not the best quality............

I do not have time to tell you what a blast it was. I have done it on previous posts several times. It might still be in the archives somewhere. You might look there.

Nice pics James. Does your friend still have the F1 or did he sell it once the Enzo arrived?

He still has it. The gearbox is in England (Surrey) being repaired. He broke the mainshaft completely in half and they could not machine him another one here.....................Risi offered to help by using his machine shop but the gearbox was already in England.

I know at least since November of 2003. Writerguy saw the car in the shop when he went out to the Jim Hall Chaparral Museum opening. I just found out by reading the Texas Driver about Jim Hall that my friend and his dad were the original money backers for Jim Hall with his Pennzoil Indy 500 entry. And they won the first time out.
