This watch is better than what I ever expected. Amazing detail and sharp looking. It feels solid and is 6 oz with the strap (which has a deployment). What I didn't realize until I got it is that the winding crown screws down into a grove so that the prancing horse is always upright in relationship to the watch. There is a yellow marker actually set into the crown for orientation. The chrono pusher are also screwed in place. You unsrew the sleeve to use the button. Very nice indeed. Andrew

Very nice! Where did you find and /or purchase it? I don't think I've ever seen it advertised anywhere.

They went with Panerai because Panerai is one of the few watch makers that has been able to keep their prices at about retail or even a smidge more in some cases.

I bought the same watch. I put a small scatch on it within two days! Suuuuuuucks! But that can be polished out.

When GP was doing the Ferrari watches the prices at good discoynts. And many of them were 38mm and most folks (at least for now) want 40-44mm.

That's the reason I sold my GP, it looked so small next to all my other watches.

Is that a release valve on the other side of the chrono pushers? Very nice indeed. I suspect it is larger than the 2 register version.

This model has a split timer and the button on the left stops one timer while the other continues.

Wow, that's a complicated movement. Past Panerai movements were modified ETA movements. Is this an ETA movement as well or an inhouse movement?

If you're talking about mine, retail was $11,200 when I purchased the watch. Panerai just had a price increase and the watch now retails at $12k.
