Here is one really funny story from the weekend.

As you guys know, the race was delayed for 2 hours by rain. As a result, it was almost dark by the time the podium ceremony was completed. So the security detail started walking the track and kicking everyone out.

Me, my son and a friend were still out there and had evaded track security for an awfully long time. They eventually ran us down. But it took the entire security force to do it. They were not pleased.

My buddy snapped this shot of me getting forced off the track - still taking photos as I went.

    Pretty funny stuff.

You didn't ask for comments... so I hope you don't mind.

The photo's need some motion to present the sensation of speed. If you took the moving shots at something slower than 1/2000 then the wheels would have movement and the cars would have a sense of movement.

Give it a try at say 1/250 next time you go and see if you notice the difference.

I always appreciate advice on how to take better photos.

I am a pure amateur and can use the help.

I will definitely try some new settings at my next GP.

    Thanks!
