Interesting. You join F-chat in March of 2007, post a little around and then all of a sudden wake up Memorial Day morning a year later and post BS like this. Was he like a sleeper cell or something like that? Wonder what makes folks like that tick? Kai
For whom the bell tolls? It tolls for thee. To paraphrase Pogo, "we have met the enemy and he is you."
1) There are a lot of countries not at war that don't have the freedoms we have. 2) More than here. If WE were not at war in Iraq, then Iraq would be in a civil war with itself, like Somalia was, and still is, to some extent. My point is we don't have to worry about it, Israel, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Jordan and a handful of others don't necessarily have this luxury. Any nut at the controls of a truck-mounted missile platform can do whatever they want, and any truck-mounted missile platform IS capable of being sold on the black market, don't kid yourself. No - those countries are not the size of the USA, but regardless of that, or the geographical location, they are much more open to attack than we are. That's my point, and if you want to nitpick, go for it.
