04560 was purchased new in 1974 from Orange Motors , NW 36th Street Miami. It was sitting on the showroom floor as their only Dino.
I leased it through a buddy of mine in Pittsburg PA Foss Ford
When I swapped for a 73 Daytona Spyder, a driver from Foss came down to Miami in 75 and drove it back to PA
The white interior was ordered for Florida weather I was told

RAK - where were you living in Miami in 1974? I spent many hours in Orange Motors. Had my Sprite serviced there in the early 60s, and shopped for a MG at Orange Motors during 1973-4. Lived on the Beach. Could not afford the Black Dino while in Med School in 1969-73.

Well thank you. She looks great in Fly Yellow.. I was always amazed at the fact the the Targa roof was painted in the same acrylic(?) paint as the body, not the usual rough type as seen in other Dinos from the factory.. I see the same treatment was used with the Yellow repaint.
I put those headlight covers on myself!! What fond memories.

The covers have great contours. So many people take a shortcut and wind up with straight-looking covers, having lost the arc that continues the shape of the fenders. Fred
