Great pictures Morten. Are the Alitalia and Martini cars in the background originals or also reproductions? They all look superb.
absolutely stunning... breath of fresh on F-chat is that front clip removable on the Michelooto Gr4 or bonded in ? thanks for the treat hf
Hi Hyenahf, Ohhh yes, a few fast locking things and the entire front is off - same with the rear section. All the best Morten
I the like craftmanship and the rollcage, I installed a rollcage on my 4x4 more than a year ago, the tube notching wasn't fun but safety come first. Can't wait to see the pics of the engine coming in. Thanks for sharing!
Agree and I tell you, that it gives a good feeling in the stomach that these guys at MAT are preparing "my baby". They are masters in car preparation
There will be a pause in the stream of pictures, as MAT are currently busy preparing two GT3's for iceracing. During March we should see more pics.
Can't believe I missed this thread! What a great project. Those pics are amazing. Thanks for sharing, Morten. I hope the wait is not too long now. Onno
have followed this thread for some time and have watched the progress on the website. I have 77 308 that has extensive engine and suspension mods. I have moved onto the interior. It has been stripped and I am looking to install a half cage to include a main hoop with the crossbars and the bracing which attach to the rear suspension points. Will someone sell me the the cage? Please send PM with details. Thanks
Project has been on hold for the last 1,5 years due to other priorities. We will restart the project during autumn, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can watch a similar car being created in the garage, now with 1867 amazing pictures... Enjoy at: http://www.mat.fi/n_index.php?nav=gallery&gallery=13 All the best Morten
This is the one and only correct way to prep a 308 for track work. I have visited your site a few times already for reference photos of certain chassis members searching for which members are best to make more rigid only to find a few photos later and that is exactly what you are doing! Really great stuff there guys. These are fabulous street cars that can be made to perform brilliantly on a track, but it is a massive undertaking! Unlike 911s which are relatively easy to prep of course.
Good to see you back posting! Do you have enough steel body parts discarded for a Shipping Container??? Send them to my apartment, the Leasing Office Girls just LOVE to get heavy boxes of Ferrari parts!! LOLOLOL!
Hey BigTex, Yeahhh I'm back, after a year which was damn busy - things will change now, I believe that more time will be alocated to the little "Fiat" Nope, nothing more to dispose - but I can send you our normal container with disposed steel - it's about a couple thousand kilos of used radiators, wheels etc - that will make the girls happy All the best Morten
