It has been a long winter. I finally got my car back from the shop. New clutch, headers, air pump, belts, tensioners, cam bearings, seals, gaskets, airbags, plugs, filters etc, etc….. Tom at Cross Ave Auto did a bang up job. The car runs like a dream. Took the car out for a quick run and all I can say is this car has to be the fastest 360 I have ever driven. Now that I have all the mechanicals sorted, the next stop is the body shop. I ordered new front and rear under body shields as well as new front inner wheel wells. The body shop estimated 4 weeks to complete the work. The whole front body panels need to be removed and reworked. I already have the fenders and the hood sitting at the shop. This car has truly been a labour of love.

The work continues. Had the front bumper removed, what a mess. Had the front bumper mounting sections repaired. Had to fabricate all new mounting points for the front under tray. The bumper completely stripped, blasted, sanded, filled and painted. Installed new inner fender wells. Installed new rear under tray. The car looks much better. I have decided that this is as far as I am going to go this year. I already made arrangements for the car to go back to the body shop this fall for a complete strip down and repaint. I would like to get at least one summer of driving on the car before I dump more $$$ into it. I will post some new pictures in the next few days.
