1988 Mazda RX-7. About 330hp to the rear wheels, though the new motor going in has a big port job so it will definitely reach 400 rwhp easily. Not bad for a 1.3L! I built it all myself with help from friends, did all the bodywork myself and painted it myself. What color? Only the best, of course. PPG Rosso Scuderia. Oh how I miss when the F1 cars were still this instead of that new 07 "maroon" crap!

Sorry, its not a prancing horse but I can't afford one of those yet! Got my eyes on a 360 N-GT one day! What do you guys think?

it looks like it's too low to drive it aggressively... the color is POW! in your face red! surely an attention getter and the white wheels sure make a nice contrast. congrats on the personal project. Rosso Scuderia is fine as long as you don't throw badges on it!

Hell no I would never put badges on it!

Yeah its my drift-primarily car, and its setup for such.... Lowest CG possible, etc. On grip days, I remove the fiberglass pieces and raise the car a couple of threads. But to be honest, its so much more fun to go karting than to pretend that driving a car is fast. I'm hooked. I don't have my own kart yet, so I still use a friend's setup. That's why this is basically just a drift car, since its all in fun and its not like I'm sitting in the car wishing I was 2mm off the ground with a 6 speed sequential 125cc single cylinder frame of death.

Good power out of that 2.6!
It's a nice project car though, good job.

Hahaha Shhhh!!! I think the real conversion puts it between 2.6 and 3.0 4 stroke 6 cylinder. Because the eccentric shaft and gears act as a ratio change of revolutions compared to the actual crank shaft in a ICE. So, the best theory is around 3.0L 6 cyl with a reduction gear (1.5 maybe.. i forget) ran before the flywheel. Of course there is no reason to do this in a regular piston engine, its just the theoretical equal to a 1.3L rotary.
