My Scalextric score from Santa

Hi all. Santa was especially good this year, as he brought a wonderful gift to my 5-month old son, George. George received a special 50th Anniversary collection and book from Scalextric that included the tin-plate body Ferrari 375 and the Ferrari 246 F1 from the 2006 season. The book is a great read and has lots of pictures of Scalextric cars and tracks since the 1950s, as well as important events that happened each year. Daddy received a quartet of slot cars, the first being the McLaren M23 that Gilles Villeneuve drove in his first F1 race, as well as a 250 GTO from the 1964 Targa Florio. Daddy also received a Morris Mini Cooper that I've heard is super fast, and last, but not least, a McLaren Mercedes driven by Fernando Alonso. Judging from the creative modification to the packaging, I don't think Santa likes Lewis Hamilton either.

My sister got George the little Ferrari hat, and the book, "60 Years of Ferrari Supercars", was a score at a local bookstore one weekend while I was picking up the wife a copy of the NY Times Sunday Edition.

The Benneton F1 mug I've had since 1990; the egg nog therein is fresh.
