    I can't imagine a better setting than arguably the all time most beautiful road going Ferrari and driving it along the ocean in SD.

    Thanks for sharing, a great read. At 21 I've just purchased my very first Ferrari, a 308 GTS QV. Hopefully one day I'll also experience the noise and thrill of sitting behind the wheel of a 275. Thanks Mike!

    The car, #8603 was sold at RM Sotheby's auction in 2019, Pebble Beach for $2+ million US to a French dealer, who then resold it shortly thereafter to someone in England. The mileage at auction was virtually the same as when I sold the car in 1979, which I find to be incredible. No one had as much fun with that car as I did in the last 56 years of its life.

    I had a nice time gazing at it before the auction. Wish I could have been in on the bidding, but it's way out of my league.
