    Sorry to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty excited about it! Never had a car in a magazine before. Randy Wells was great to work with and I think he's an excellent photog and writer. I like the way he handled the whole Nazi connection with Porsche issue. It's such a taboo topic even today.

    very nice, but I'm wondering why they had to bring up the Nazi stuff at all. the car speaks for itself, and the story was fun without it.

    Great looking car. Not sure about the whole side-story with the Nazi part, but I can only imagine how difficult it is to keep coming up with new angles for a magazine.

    Anyway, love the authentic feel of your car. Just bought my first set of Vredestein Sprint Classics, just finishing up restoring the wheels before I mount them. How do you like the tires?

    Thanks all for the compliments.

    The Vredesteins are excellent...good ride quality and stick well for a tire on a 4.5" wheel.

    I know, I know...I deserve a ton of flak for being an opportunist and selling the car when it's in Excellence...but to be honest I could really use the money. Flame away if you wish...it's a great car that will make the winner very happy.
