Hello dear fchatters, thank you so much for all the PM`s & calls I have got since I have left fchat 2 months ago. A few asked me: whats the story behind, what does realy happened? For one reason it was a privat/personal decission. I changed my life a bit, closed my old firm/ business, bought another firm together with a partner (already sold my 50% again), started to drive Formula 3 races and there was no more time to participate here. Fchat was always a wonderful place where I have met so many awesome great peoples, new friendships, tons of drive outs, travelling all around the world and meeting wonderful peoples. I have been in Texas over 100 times during the last 20 years, but my last visit in March 2005 was just breathtaking and the best time I have ever had in Dallas! Once again, thank you Rob, Dave, Nick and ALL the Texan Fchatters I have had the honor & pleasure to meet there. Your hospitallity was awesome great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year I was invited by Jim Glickenhaus, drove together with him in his LOLA, stayed a few day in his private house with his family Man, I have had a wonderful time and so many amazing memories. Yes, it was a very important part of my daily living. I love to remember the old days, the old board, when the european section started with 5 users, first meeting and Rallye with Jens Haller ..R.I.P my friend. Good old times and the community started growing and growing. Nothing wrong & wonderful. Today, fchat is a business again nothing wrong and we are all hunting for a good business. Fchat turned over more & more to a chat room. The P & R drove me crazy and we have had many fights about the sense of such a section (and others like Investment/Business) in a Ferrari forum. If you don`t like it, don`t click it! ..doesn`t works for me! I have got many PM`s (also during the last 2 months): German Nazi, W*nker, ..(don`want to post the rest of the stupid comments here). Well, I know the 1% a$$clown rule (they are all around the world & everywhere). At least, its true and are just 1% of the fchatters mostly the unsibcribed users! O.K. I gave up on it and went back to my little sandbox the Europea section. I have done, together with my friend Ton, the mod-job to keep the european section clean from the trolls & a$$clowns. It went perfect and we haven`t had any fights or problems in the european section. This is still to me a wonderful community and a shinning example how it could work! The UK/RL desaster .I saw & smelt it coming. Nobody is perfect and we are all doing faults and Rob apologized or it! Don`t tread Rob for it, we are all just human beeings! BUT never forget: Fchat is a US chat room! Yes, we (the Europeans & UK chatters) are very welcome here .as GUESTS! A big part of the UK chatters left fchat and created their own new real estate (www). (No, I don`t set a link here, that wouldn`t be fair to Rob & Fchat). Its a nice place. All the best to our UK friends and their new Ferrari chat room. I will close my letter & thoughts with a personal advice to Rob. I think we all know exactly what you mean Wolfgang. I'm sure many of us feel the same. There's not much extra that can be said about it. It's very nice to see you here again, hope you're doing well and that you can find the time to visit the European section from time to time...

Howdy Tom, thanks buddy - not necessary But the fact is, that many other european (especially german) chatters left the board for this reason. I have been always proud to bring new users to the board - an did it. I must shame and apologize when they told me about the rude mails they have gotten or stupid comments about germans/nazis in the P&R section. Feel free to ask some other dudes who left the board: - Trevi, Switzerland: a dear frien of mine, "old" chatter.....he can tell you some strange stories...has left the building - Bernd GT3, Germany.......has left the building - URicken, Germany......has left the building - Thorsten_Gallardo, Germany.....has left the building - Uli, Germany........has left the building - Michael, Germany.......has left the building - Heiko from HG Parts, Germany long time fchat sponsor.....has left the building ...just a few to name. And the worst thing is that they were all really nice guys! I never visit the P&R section. In my opinion it does not belong here. It is just an excuse for radical minds to say what they want.

Ciao Wolfgang. Long time, no see. I was wandering where you were gone. At least you know I moved to Manila, not knowing where you are and whatr you are doing was simply strange. I agree with the 90% of what you say, and now I understand the reason why the e mail link disappeared from your profile. Only point I do not agree with is that some uneducated people was one of the reason for you to leave. Just ignore them, they are not worthy. I have had a far smaller experience with F-chat, but it was great, I can call some new people friend, and this is the important thing. Come back every now and then, when I will be back there will be a lot of new stories. Ciao Eugenio

Hi Wolfgang, It's sad to hear such storys. One year ago I found this forum, joined and I found lots of infos here (about events and cars) and nice guys. So far I had no negative experiences and I hope this will be always the same. Without this site and the infos that guys like you give to others I wouldn't have had such a nice Ferrai year. I'm at least on hour a day on this board and checking whats going on. So I hope you still visit this board from time to time and I hope to meet you again next year. Maybe again at the Modena Motorsport Track Days or at any other event. Best Marin
