I'm leaving this evening to go pick up my 1990 Testarossa #86865 in Toronto area. I will post pictures. I will then introduce the car with many pictures and will try to post all repairs and upgrades throughout my ownership with pictures and possibly how-to threads.

I hope it will be a fun thread to follow.

Congrats Claude! I know it must have been incredibly difficult to have to wait this long to have your new baby in your possession. Safe travels. Looking forward to getting to know your TR.

Congrats big time. Those first few months of feeling each other out (!) are the funnest if not the most rewarding.

I always spend more time and money in the early stages, improving what I imagine to be a deficit and largely theoretical. Fun times. ENJOY!

The first time I drove my TR, I was a little nervous like on a first date as Mr. Chairman would say. That goes away pretty quickly. This is the ultimate drivers car from the way the seats hug you and the open visibility all the way to the sound, smell and feel of the flat 12 behind you. There is no comparison.

Thanks everybody! I'm back home. A nice trip and we met nice people. Some pictures to come but I'm presently very tired and will post them later. She is still in the trailer but I'm so happy she here at home.

Tomorrow I have to move all the cars to make room for her.

Secured in the trailer ready to go.

    A proud new owner.

On the left is Ben my friend who own the trailer and the Diablo and Pantera I have here at home.

On the right is Bryan Corlett of Manx classics. He is the brother of the owner and is a real nice guy. Doing business with him was a pleasure.

Note: Notice the lower grille that has probably been put back wrong on the last engine out service.
