Michael, next time i'm down there, you and i are going out, no excuses, understand...? Brad, it wasn't something i could've delayed or put off in anyway... Michael, it looked nice; unfortunately, i didn't scope it out thoroughly... It was kinda hard for me to do anything except ogle the NNO... Damn, i love that car...
I know what you mean. I am not wowed by FoLI, having had service there twice. While it is true that my car is only an old Mondial, I am pretty sure I pay the same hourly rates and steep bills as any other F car. Still, I get a sort of a back road no name auto shop approach to customer service.
Yeah, that's not cool... and you don't "only" have a Mondial; you have a Ferrari Mondial...! Say it with pride...! Are you folks doing any runs this weekend...? PM me, if so; if possible, i'd like to tag along...
Ryan, their website says that the 1967 330 GTC (s/n 9139) with 31,920 miles is on sale for $84,500... It also says that it's "...silver/black, 4-Owner, Blaupunkt cassette, recent engine rebuild, nice car." Or you could just view all of that here...
DES you never mentioned in your PM you were IN Atlanta! WTF!! I would have met you. I will call you tomorrow. BTW, the Enzo is NOT for sale, Ed the owner of the dealership, had a month or so back a good part of his collection, on the floor, including his 550 Barchetta, F40, F50, 288 GTO and the Enzo.
Hey NNO, Why is there a huge time difference between your pictures of the ENZO? Oh nevermind, I just figured it out. You were stunned by the presence of an ENZO and had to compose yourself before you could keep taking pictures. MJG
Al, so i heard... Does he have any intention of taking it out of there...? i hate to see it sit there... Matt, ironically, the young lady at the front desk was born and raised up here, on Long Island; she and i got to talking for a while, so i had taken a break from the picture-taking for a little while... Dude, why are you looking at the time stamps on the pictures...? You should be looking at the NNO...!!!
Never, i reckon... Tsk, tsk... LOL, Ryan, no, i didn't get her number... But i got the serial number off the NNO...
From observation in the past six years of being involved with the Ferrari activities, I have only seen the owner(Ed) drive one car(the F50) once, at the '99 National FCA meet in Atlanta, otherwise the cars sit in storage.... what a shame !!! His 288 has 128kilometers showing, that's right 128km. Every now and then, he will bring them out of storage, have the shop perform the major, then put it back into storage. I think we should make him give us rides, just so the cars get driven. The owner(Ed) also has many other Ferraris, from a 348 race prepared to a 275, etc, etc. Some people have all the fun !!
Carbon, Nice pics as always! Quantity and quality is important. I'm happy you saw a Enzo (i'm jealous) and you also saw a 330 GTC.(wow) Thats it ...I'm planning a trip somewhere.
Funny thing about the horse. When I visited there about 6 weeks ago, for the first time, I was delighted to see the Enzo, went out to my car, got my camera, and took a number of shots of the car. Until I saw my photos, I hadn't realized the horse was even there! Concentrating too much on the Enzo, obviously. I did see the Testarossa coffee table, though. And if anyone hasn't mentioned it, the window sticker on the Enzo read $652,000--if you could actually get one at that price!
LOL, Ryan... You can buy a LOT of things with just the gas guzzler tax... A pre-owned Corolla with well under 100,000 miles comes to mind... Among a myriad of other things... Erik, no, what's in the basement...? i didn't even know they had two floors... Is it open to the public...? i walked around a fair amount of the dealership, i didn't see anything...
