Steve what you did was NOT COOL at all. You should have shown some respect to the police that was there, the participants and the organizers by behaving yourself. I'm not approving what the Ford GT did either. Because of you 2 and the E55 (also the red murci that never heard of warming up the tires first before stepping on it) the police officers were very unhappy and told us directly that they regret trying to help us put on a good event for a good cause.
I don't even understand why would you be so proud of what you did as to post it online for everyone to see. Grow up!

uhh... i quite frankly dont blame the porsche guy for being pissed off, i would have been too, but i really dont see the problem with burning out when we were leavin, we intentionally pulled ahead, so that we were ahead of the crowd, and there were no cars around to hit...infact we thought it would be ok because we watched the other cars burn out, and if im not mistaken the words "peel out" were used in the pre run talk....sorry my bad

Agreed. The burnout was uncalled for. If you have a $100k+ car, last thing you need is sticky hot rubber on your paint.

Now if an Enzo did a burnout and sprayed my car with rubber, I think I'd never wash it again.

Maybe they were used in your car, but we did not tell anyone to peel out of anywhere. Isn't it pretty obvious not to act stupid with over 10 cops around?!

Definitely over the top. When you're directly in front of anyone's car, exotic or otherwise, show some courtesy and don't shower it with random crap. You're lucky it was just rubber and that you didn't pick up any stones or debris, else that would have gotten expensive right quick. The cops there went out of their way to see that we had a good time, and did something for us that does not happen often. Accelerating quickly is one thing, but burnouts and near-miss spins were just silly.

Accelerating hard to 60 or what not like everyone else did is one thing, but cheesing off the people who went out of their way to set that up for us is very much another. Save it for the parking lot next time.

SteveGTO. Thanks for the video, but you came across as a real tool with that stunt you pulled. Then saying "f@#k him" to your buddy after the guy in the Porsche came over to your car. Lame and cowardly on your part son.... Consider yourself lucky that he was cool about it. I can think of a couple of guys who would have yanked you out of your car and made you clean it right there. Me being one of them.

Sad part is that you don't even realize how much you embarrassed yourself by "peeling out" a few hundred feet from 5 or 6 highway cops and spitting rubber on a 100K Porsche. Explain to me how that is ever cool.

Maybe next run Seth and Hovik will have to make this a 21 and over event. Shame.

Funny how it takes 1 or 2 clowns to ruin an event for hundreds of people.

Gentleman, I am sorry I came across as a tool. I did not intend to disrespect people or hurt other's vehicles. I thought the Porsche was farther back than that, but after I did that, I realized he was right on my bumper. Now that I look back, I realize I shouldn't have done some of those things and said what I did. I deleted that video. I guess I will just delete the whole tape then. What I can say though is that I will never do those things again and I am truly sorry. I hope you will accept my apologies and allow me back on the next run. I will definitely show my utmost respect.

i believe the words were "we are going to peel out of here get on the LIE with the police escort..."....i already apologized though, BUT HELL ill say it agian, sorry my bad

as for being a clown, ill take that. but i saw all kinds of wonderful behavior at the event, like the wonderful gentlemen who wouldnt shut the F... up when that lady was talking about the charity (there aint no class like low class), or how about the BRILLIANT driving skills of some of the participants, where they jerk their wheel and cut accross lanes like they were the crap stunt drivers in 2fast2furious (because u know thats not putting peoples lives at risk at 100mph). BUT lets not comment on that...lets talk about the burnout clowns...

BUT HELL ill say it a 3rd time, IM SORRY

How does talking about other's behavior justify yours? Don't get all defensive here and think we're ganging up on you. Not the case. You weren't even driving, so I don't know what you are so concerned about. Your driver did what he did, not your fault. Like you said he went far from other cars before he did the burnout, but it still didn't keep the cops from getting pissed off.

I took the video down until I edit it some more. I will add in other parts as well as take out my burnout part. I am installing a Core 2 Extreme processor and (2) SLI 8800GTX at the moment, so I will get it done after that. I have about 3 gigs of tape I took. If anyone wants the entire tape once its edited, let me know. I will post it on my OC3 server with unlimited bandwidth. I have great shots of almost every car on the run.

Aside from some of the jackassery that went on, the run was still very successful in my eyes, and let's not forget about that. The food was outstanding in both the morning and afternoon, and the staff at both Champion Motors and the Milleridge Inn were kind and courteous. Thank you Hovik for setting up an amazing day that, planning wise, went off without a hitch. Looking forward to the next one!

What was said while I gave the driver's meeting was, "when we are ready to go, we will peel off one by one from our spots and lineup on the service road and then continue onto the LIE."

Definition for the few: One car at a time, peeling off like a flower petal, so as not to have confusion and lineup on the service road.

Not PEEL OUT in front of 10 cops. If you can honestly say that you believed those were the words and the meaning - well I would have to recommend you reconsider your judgment skills.

I don't even know how the heck you guys could even do a burnout comming out of the lot. I barely touched my gas pedal and the cold tires broke loose. The road seemed very slippery pulling out. Maybe it was just my car. Gotta get me one of those LP640 maybe!

I hope the cops would still do the escort on other runs that you do since that was awesome plus it allowed for an open road for 100s of cars to enter.

You might have to up the donations to them..

    Very funny.
I didn't see your Murc spinning any tires.
And I would let you drive it but you would probably stall the GT on takeoff since your used to an automatic.

I smoked the tires in this beast for about 200 feet in first gear then another 100 feet in second gear and that was after I warmed up the tires.
