Didn't see a Countach at the show? Perhaps you were unaware that there was a special showing in Canton. The cops and towing company loved it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello, Thank you for your concern. I am fine. My alternator died. Oh well, worse things could happen. And if you have to be stuck on the side of the road you couldn't have had a nicer day!
I eventually made it. I just went home and got my Jeep and then made it up there. Beautiful cars there. That Miura was amazing but no other old school Lambos????
Hi Ray, Glad you were able to make it there. Too bad about the Countach not making it to the show. I was also surprised that the Miura was the only "vintage" Lamborghini there. I remember 2 years ago there was a silver Espada, and I've also seen the occasional Jalpa there. Best regards, Dino
Thanks Dino, Your car looked great as usual. I was only at the show for maybe 30 minutes. We then went to pick up the SL65. That thing is a rocketship!
Yeah, I was thinking that the line-up of colorful Lambos was missing something! I have empathy for you, a similar thing happened to me last year for German car day. I know how nerve-wracking it is on the side of the road with a high-priced car. Hopefully the rest of the day went well for you and the car will be back on the road in short order.
Sorry Ray, I saw you by the side of the road but I was in the passing lane on the downhill following my son and daughter and could not make it over. I thought the mounties had caught you until I saw the doors up and all sitting on the guardrail. Ain't old cars fun!
Hey Ray, Sorry I could not help you, I was already at the show. I am sure it took a lot for you to upload that picture.. Ted
It didn't take a lot. I like laughing at my own expense. And thank you as always for transporting my car to New Jersey for me!
