No, the FF stayed in Cascais waiting for her sister, the dark blue/beige 458 Spider. What a lucky and happy man I am... Photo of both in Cascais: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fritz, It was a pleasure for me meet you and your wife on Saturday, Thanks for sharing the magical racing stories with us. Long life in good health for you and your family.
Fritz // The FF looks great in white, but is that a scrape or just dirt on the front right wheel opening below the headlamp?
Just spent the better part of my day reading this entire thread. I have to say of all the forums I have ever been on, more than I'd like to admit perhaps, this is one of the best threads I have had the pleasure to stumble upon. Thank you, sir, for the stories, the photos, and keeping the passion you have had for so long. I hope you never lose it and hope to live that way myself. RIP to your dear friend...
Dear Mr Frederico D'Orey. I came across your thread completely by chance and have to say it was fascinating to read your posts... I think it would be great if you could post some pictures and comments in the Vintage section of Fchat (especially the "More old Photos" thread) and get yourself known by the community. I am sure that they will love the fact that you are a fellow Fchatter... I can't wait to read more of your racing experiences... Best regards. Chanh PS: love your Fcars especially since they are not the common "rosso corso" colours

Yes, I love most of all my incredible white FF and then my low profile Dark blue Spider with no shields... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like your 458 Spider very much too: very subtle colour combination... No need for the Scudetto in IMHO: F cars don't need extra logos to be recognised ;-)
My mistake, looks like Grigio Titanio Metallizzato... These pics are official Ferrari pics... Grigion Abu Dhabi has more "beige/sand" on it... Configurator here: FF Car Configurator Brochure here: http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Ferrari/Ferrari_int%20FF.pdf Cheers!
Dear Fritz. Some recent pics of your former 250TDF 0787GT repainted in your colours! I think she now belongs to a Fchat member and collector... ics a from this web site: Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta TdF - Automotive Event Photography by cncpics (of course copyrights to the author) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you Chanh Lê Huy, My 1957 "Ferrari 250GT Scaglietti" as it was called in 1959 when I bought it directly from Commendatore Enzo Ferrari. Now I have a white FF and a 458 Spider, but many times I feel the old sensation that the 250 GT gave me long time ago. Very nice car that had at the time the record of Monza: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear Fritz, Wow, what average speed at the time! Was it on the oval track, or did you use part of the oval? Here's a picture of the F12 at the Monza oval today About the 250 Tour de France, thanks for informing me on what the model was called in the day... Of course "Tour de France" name was given to the model after her success at that race... I suppose it became impossible to call all the different variants the same name "250 GT Scaglietti" afterwards... Best regards. C Image Unavailable, Please Login
Monza no oval, no chicanes in both straights of Monza track. In my memory Monza stayed as my favorite racing track...
That's my car. Bought it in April 1959 and Scaglietti painted the brazilian colors. What a nice guy he was. This picture I took in Modena in front of the old Albergo Real-Fini in a most beautiful Piazza where the Ferrari drivers (Phil Hill, Richie Guinter, Dan Gurney) myself and others lived... Has there been any discussion of that 1952 Berlinetta of yours? What kind of car was it? Best wishes, Kare
