Between May and August is the best time, although the weather in Scotland can be very random, so there is no real "best time", its often down to luck Depending on what you want to do once in Scotland, but Edinburgh is worth a visit. If its a driving holiday you mostly want to do, head for the north west Highlands. Glen Coe, Applecross, Torridon, Isle of Skye, Lochinver etc etc.. I would say the 458 would be a real blast, and more suited to the narrow and tighter roads.
My pleasure Fritz Feel free to contact me if you manage to do a trip If im in Scotland at the time i would be happy to show you around.
Thank you. We are thinking of going with the 458 Spider in August. Will you be in Scotland? If you come to Portugal please let me know. Cascais is paradise. Today we were 6 so took both Ferrari and went to lunch at Guincho beach. Beautiful... Portugal is fantastic!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry we didn't meet. Please tell me next time so we have a drink or else... You have a beautiful blue 456. Mine was british racing green and I did love it! Abraço Fritz
Happy Birthday Fritz!!! Congratulations! Hope you enjoy your beautiful cars in our beautiful country Have fun!
Thanks a lot and happy to have survived my racing time when there was no seat belts, guard rails, electronics etc... Lost quite a few friends!!! Tomorrow, my girlfriend and me, we are going to Maranello with the FF. Driving from Cascais to Barcelona, sleeping there for two nights and then to the F factory. What a privilege at 76 years old. 2.250 klms of pleasure with the best car and girl in the world... Will post pictures.
Have a nice trip! Um boa viagem! You are a legend. Ferrari is lucky to have you promoting their cars. They should just give you a new one every two years or so. All the best (if is appropriate )
Bon viagem ! Cascais to Barcelona is a trip I was doing 3 times a year a few years back. Good clear road and only encountered a few police monitoring speed both sides of Madrid other than there roads are very quiet, I'm sure you will have a great trip, nice scenery on route. I'm sure you will of seen them before but around Trujillo are some strange rocks which look as though they been left there when the gods were finished playing marbles with them. And the other side of Madrid between Guadalajara and Zaragoza near the signs for Epila after you climb the hills and pass the other side a strange man made sight of hundreds of wind turbines, it is some sight especially at night when all you can see is little red dots of lights in total blackout. Have a great trip ( rather envious actually ). And what a car to do it in. Life doesn't get much better. Look forward to the pics. Enjoy !
late to this party, but just wanted to say I very much enjoy all the fantastic ferrari photos in this thread and - wow - the FF looks just amazing in white
Hello Fritz, Tenha uma viagem segura e desfrute dos seus belos carros! Have a safe trip and enjoy your beautiful cars! Forte abraço, Rúben
Ah... Cascais to Barcelona. And on to Maranello. These are the best of times. May you have many happy returns.
Feliz Cumpleaños Fritz! The perfect partnership to share 2000kms, I'l be sharing in a similar experience in July visiting the factory and driving something quite unique, lets savour the moments. Enjoy and look forward to the pictures in due course!
