Vik, This might interest you. Today's Autoweek talks of a V8-powered (4.2 liter from Audi A8) Gallardo at a lower price to show up at the Frankfurt show in September. ?????
what the hell is a smoker version?? An ashtray/lighter combo? Who the hell smokes in their exotic anyways
That's interesting Tino. But I'm also looking to see whether they facelift the MY06's as I've heard they may do, and if so, what those changes are. The few spy shots I've seen show the car to be very nice, but I'm wondering now whether those shot had actually captured an early stage of the Piton?
Haven't ordered anything yet Tom. Get more and more confused by the day - . Do I pursue a deal on an '05, wait and see what the '06 looks like, or drop some for the Piton. Want to see the Piton (which should be released in the next couple of months) and the 06 before I make my decision.
Or buy Rich's Gallardo when he gets his spider (cause his wife will kill him if he has two Lambos in the garage
Make money reselling a Gallardo? Really? I wouldn't object to a V8 Gallardo -- the HP wars are getting a bit silly, imo. However, I WOULD like a much lighter RWD variant. And a confidence-inspiring 4 year warranty. Aesthetics-wise, I much prefer the Gallardo to the 430, the rear end notwithstanding.
I think the branding package and the callisto rims are the only REALLY appealing options. The nav system too possibly. Either way the options would be a mere afterthought to actually owning a lamborghini. Revel in the moment man, and congratulations on your upcoming purchase!
