    For those of you that have 488s and use the MYQ app to open your garage doors, does it show up on your CarPlay Screen?

    on a side note, you can integrate MYQ into Alarm.com app. But you lose some functionality such as video cameras and Amazon Key (which I think is a bad idea anyway)

    MyQ doesn’t work on CarPlay, but I’ve heard if you integrate it into homelink then you can use the opener through CarPlay. I haven’t tried it though

    So I bought a "Newer" MyQ Home Bridge ($104) and replaced the MyQ Internet Gateway (NO APPLE HOME Integration)

    LIFTMASTER 819LMB MYQ Home Bridge Compatible W- Chamberlain MYQ-G0303-SP - - Amazon.com

    The Home Bridge uses WiFI (pretty easy to setup) vs the Internet Gateway uses an Ethernet Connection.
    I Integrated Apple Home App which automatically picked up MyQ.

    Now I can say to iPhone "Hey Siri Open Garage Door" and it works.
    I have three doors, so I name each one "Hey Siri ,Close Ferrari Garage Door". "Hey Siri, Open Levante Garage Door."

    I haven't played with CarPlay and Apple Home App yet. Not sure there is an icon in CarPlay??
    The voice integration is good enough and works anytime you have your phone anywhere including walking to garage.

    There appears to be a way to automatically open the garage when you come "Home" (enter the geo fence around your house).
    But it looks like MyQ might be blocking that. Not even sure I want to TRUST the app to open and close my garage automatically. ;)

    ALSO, Liftmaster/Chamberlain just discontinued the Bridge (They said they didn't have enough sales).
    SO, if you want to get it you will need to hurry. Limited number on Amazon and Ebay.

    I have myQ on my new garage door. It works great as I can let in service people through the garage or if someone comes to the nest doorbell. I have another nest in the garage so I can see when Amazon drops off packages with the Amazon key. I haven’t tried to integrate into apple however as I’ve never found the Apple home stuff to be very compelling? Maybe it’s better now? My impression was that Google and Amazon seem to be more dedicated to this space as I assume many use it for shopping whereas it seems to be a bit of a hobby to Apple?

    MyQ app and overall MyQ is cool…WHEN IT WORKS… every power flicker or outage and you have to go through the PITA re-programming process to get it to work the garage doors again. I’ve given up…. Not a Ferrari issue but in the MyQ app on the phone or iPad… it just doesn’t always work after power outage.
