    Can anyone identify this car or tell the story behind it ? This picture was taken in France I believe, but more information would be useful .

    You sure it's a Jag? My first thought was Zagato-rebody of an E-Type, but I think they did an XK-140 / 150 only.

    It looks like a Zagato Aston Martin, maybe a prototype. E-type jags needed to lift the front for engine access whereas this looks to have the classic Aston hood opening. You could always drop the dealer a line at [email protected] <[email protected]>.

    If I recall correctly it is a fiberglass special based on a Jag XK120 chassis. Is it your car?

    I don't know much more about the car, however a broker friend of mine had the car for sale in the States in 2006. I am not aware of where it came from or wher it went after that.
