"show winner" with after-market bling wheels? Really? Hard to imagine it being a
museum piece if not all original. I am always suspicious of eBay listings with
    no real photos....

    I like the color though....

Agreed. I told the seller there were many red flags and that he needed to supply more information. Checked the carfax and mileage discrepancies not sure if they were clerical errors or not.

Could well be a scam.... the fact there are no real photos up close or the interior or
engine bay, and it sounds like mileage discrepancies? Just because the "seller" responded
in no way proves the car is real, that he owns it, and that if you buy it you'll ever
    actually see it.

Were it me, I'd just move along and find something more local to you that has a little
more of a history to go along with it.

    Just my 2 cents....

I'm not saying this is the case, however, I went to an air museum in Michigan a few years ago - in the middle of all of these airplanes, behind the ropes, sits a beautiful 308. I thought I was seeing something so I asked the lady behind the counter. Apparently the owner of the museum loves his Ferrari so much he had it placed with the planes and drives it on occation.

See this thread, there is a pic of the Ferrari -

Not EVEN a distant comparison: you SAW the 308, and you can find out the history if you wanted to. And he keeps it there because it is also climate-controlled I bet.

I love how the seller so proudly claims "No Service Records" in the listing. And I love the pic where it looks like it is stuffed in a self-storage unit. And the one of the girl stealing the hubcaps....

I appreciate the honesty, that is indeed "museum stored", which is different from "museum displayed" ;)

from the photo showing one view of a storage scenario, my only comment is "THAT'S ONE DAMNED SMALL MUSEUM". LOL.

Museum stored except for the time it has spent in a corrugated steel container?

Sorry you got so much bad info from the jerks on this forum. My reputation in the collector car field is impeccable; hate to be dissed by some losers. Car was in the Ferrari Display at the CA Auto Museum; then stored. Sold it to a deadbeat bidder on ebay so I put it back up. It's a good buy at $50K plus the necessary service.

Might be a good car but my rule is that if there are no pictures of the engine it probably doesn't have one.

The only jerkoff here is you pal.. I love your ad saying that its Perfect Condition Show Winner.. Which show? Love the interior shot with all the dirt all over the place.. Really love the cheap aftermarket wheels with those perfect center caps.. What else?? Hmm.. No service records.. nice.. This car is pefect?? Maybe your reputation is impeccable.. If you dont know what perfect means then how can I be so sure that you understand what impeccable means. We dont know you from a hole in the wall.. Calling someone here a loser when you know that your ad, your photos, lack of service history, then describing your car as perfect condition / show winner is off base.. Being who you say, you should know better.. Your playing us for stupid!! Show us more pictures of this "perfect" car (especially a full shot of the driver seat).. "perfect". with such few posts you should start showing some respect or do us all a favor and get the f*ck out. Sell your cars on ebay and start being more accurate on your description and have better photos to back up your statements.. Balls !!

I could have swore he had the major done when he painted it white. Nice example.. Once service is done you'll have a nice white vice machine..

Robbie, Tell us how you really feel. LOL.

All kidding aside, Robbie is a gentleman and is just telling it like it is. IMO, this car is either a mystery mobile or at the very least advertised terribly.

Geez, I'm gone for a couple of weeks and you guys already have the pitchforks out. :) I guess I should spend less time in the 308 section. Hey on a brighter note I got my TR to pass emissions!
