Mystery Box found behind the Dash

I was taking apart the dash on my 2011 458 today to have some stickies refinished and found a little black box that is clearly aftermarket. It was velcroed down and hard wired in. It's just in a generic black case, the sticker just says "T-4" on it as well as a serial number and a meid. No brand or any other info. I pulled the box apart and took a picture of the board inside, but it just appears to be a CDMA modem from ~2016. I assume its a tracker of some sort that the previous owner had installed however it doesn't appear to have a GPS module or anything else of note. I didn't trace the wire though so its possible its got another piece with that on it.

Anyone know anything about it? Its warm and the lights blink so its definitely active (and also probably contributing to the battery issues this car has had) I'm debating just cutting the wire. I can't imagine its working anymore as CDMA networks have all shut down.

Ahh, thanks! That seems to just say its a cellular modem. I guess the only option is to pull the dash apart and see what its connected too :-/
