This is for Wayne Ausbrooks, and 'Old Guy'..... Photographed in San Jose California, near IBM, in June, 1969. (apologies for the abysmal photo quality) Looks 'GTO-like' (for lack of a better analog)? A 'replica'? A factory or 'tuner' one-off? Other ideas?
Could be a rebody of some other car/Ferrari, or a collection of parts from different cars. The shifter gate has very short throws - typical of Maserati. I don't remember seeing too many Ferraris with those pull-type emergency brake handles either (usually floor mounted, pivoted levers).
James, very nice!! I believe what we have here are shots of 250 Testa Rossa s/n 0716TR with coackwork by Drogo. That body has since been removed and is now on 2493GT. Can you email me larger, high-res copies of these, please? [email protected]
Hi Wayne, Are you sure this is s/n 0716TR? For the middle ownership chain of 0716TR I show: 19.. - Don Fong, Atlanta, GA 19.. - Charles Kemp, Jackson, MS 19.. - M. Bachman (don't know what state) then to Ed Niles, California on November 20, 1976. I don't know who this Bachman guy was but I suppose he may have been from California. Do you have anything else to add? -Jarrett
