I've got the front bumper off my Spider and spotted an electrical connector that isn't plugged into anything. Any idea what it is for?

    Cheers...

Possibly for headlamp wash motor which maybe isnt installed on yours?

Whatever it is, it's common for cars to come with a loom that caters for every option and for several unused connections to be found.

Nice idea but my headlight washers are connected on the other side of the water tank!

On further investigation it seems that the connector is plumbed into a sensor on the water tank - possibly a level sensor?

There's also a couple of wire with taped up ends close by (to the right in the pic) - what are the chances that these need to be connected to the plug? Does the 360 have a warning when the washer water level gets low?

    Cheers!

Yes it does and the next time I have my front bumper off I'll probably be disconnecting it because I regularly get false notification of a low level! I'd say you've hit the nail on the head here. A previous owner disconnected the level sensor due to false positive results.
