I found this horn button in the back of a drawer in my desk that has been there since at least the early 90s, possibly the 80s. It measures about 60mm in diameter. What does this go to? Nardi? Momo? I have no idea. I know that it isn't valuable, it's just driving me crazy as far as why in the world I bought this thing just to lose it in my desk. A little help, please.

It fits a Momo wheel. The part number for that was 101071.

Thanks a ton. It's really annoying to stash something away for some reason and then forget all about it, discover it decades later and have no idea why you did it. That was for the 330LMB we had back in the 80s but the car was sold before the button showed up. Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure that the part number would be different. This is the horn button for the GTOs, 330 LMBs, 250 Buonos (Buoni ?) etc... It's very similar to what was on the 365 GTB4 Daytonas, but they didn't have the trim ring. It was pretty easy to get there once somebody pointed me in the right direction.

No, it isn't Daytona, but, it is very similar to what the Daytona had, except for the chrome trim ring. That's why I'm thinking it has a different part number. It's a different horn button. :)

Right, OEM 101071's are floating about. Not sure about yours. Or are you saying the one you have is easy to get?

They were easy to get when I got this decades ago. I just went to Ferraris of Houston and bought it. Now, it's a little different. There's a used one on ebay right now that the guy is asking $250 for, which IMHO, is insane, but, there couldn't have been that many of them made back in the day. If you wanted one, maybe you could still get it from Momo. I have no idea, because I haven't looked for one. Maybe one could go to Pebble Beach and pop one off of a GTO when nobody's looking. :D

The gold trimmed one for $250? Not insane, because even run of the mill 101071's are $100+ depending who and where.
    275's ones are $700+

Yours all nice and tidy in the bag should be pretty valuable :)

I wasn't really looking to sell it, but, I had a guy pm me this morning that said he needed it for his car, and offered $100 for it. I said sure, why not. But if I don't hear from him, I'll just keep it. It's not like it takes up a lot of space.

100$ is a fair number for one of these. If the sale doesnt go through, id be interested in buying.
FWIW, the ebay 'gold trimmed' one on ebay isnt anything special. Being a collector myself, at some point i was trying to remove the rust on one of the chromed rings on such a horn button. Eventually trying a wire brush, the complete chrome started to come off and what i found underneath was the same 'gold trim'.
