Back in 2002 we had purchased and sold a Mclaren F1 that had an extra bumper as part of the deal. When we received the bumper it was in a wooden crate new. Placed it in storage and took it back out this past month to look it over while we were relocating our warehouse.

The bumper as we have studied isn't from a Mclaren F1. It has the wrong headlights. the front bumper is a one piece and the back bumper is a split 2 piece bumper. the color mathced the McLaren. I have looked at several GTR models of Porsche, Mercedes etc, but can't not figure out what it is.

I have posted some pictures. If anyone recognizes what make/model it goes to let me know by posting a reply.

Are those the Ameritech bumpers used to pass DOT certification? Pictured in the R&T test, December 1997, page 72.
