This is a great show. How about some suggestions we scould send them for new shows? I'll start: Two six-packs and a butt-ugly woman in a hot tub ALWAYS leads to sex.
How about the myth that too many steroids will cause a mans penis to shrink, while a woman grows one.
Does a rat/cat/dog placed in a microwave explode? Can a little old lady, with enough adrenaline, pick up the back of a wrecked car with her grandchildren inside?
Would be impossible to test. You couldn't get a persons adrenaline up high enough if that person knew it was a test and her children were perfectly safe. The other day, I was getting gas and I wondered what would happen if lightning struck the gas hose or the handle. I know they've tested cigarettes and cell phones before. Would be interesting to see what would happen.
How about the myth of throwing an Alka-Seltzer or a Fizzy to a seagull (Which do a great job catching food thrown to them from a pier) that they will explode after 20 seconds of flight?
The visual of that one kills me! Toss an Alka-Seltzer and a half a minute later all you see is a cloud of feathers! I did find this on the web: April 12, 1993 Dear Mr. Mikkelson: Thank you for your letter requesting information about ALKA-SELTZER Effervescent Antacid and Pain Reliever. You inquired if feeding tablets to sea gulls would cause their bodies to explode. I am sorry to report that we have no scientific information to support this finding, but we do not recommend such a practice. As you are aware, ALKA-SELTZER is only intended for human consumption and this is only after the tablets are dissolved in water. I would recommend directing any future inquiries of this nature to your local wildlife or forestry organizations. Thank you for writing and for your comments. Sincerely Sally S. Basically from my understanding is that the pressure builds up in there stomach and there stomach pops. And they die from internal bleeding.
Almost. The testicles atrophy. The clitoris enlarges. We're talking anabolic steriods here, not corticosteroids.
Radar stealth part 2: Do flat surfaces alone deflect radar waves making a large target a small one? Could flat surfaces on a vehicle create a small signature rendered undetactable from radar in addition to coating the surface with RAM(radiation absorbant material) such as Eccosorb? Would this combination thwart speed measuring radar waves?
Yeah! Let's do a TV show during which we put: Small animals in a microwave. Put elderly women in ultra high stress situations, involving the well being of their grandchildren and hopefully be entertained by their reactions. More testing with children. MUUWAAHAAHAAH...
